A friend in the group suggested to try the NanXiang Xiao Long Bao inside the Yuyuan Garden. Wow, look at the crowd, it must be good. We decided to give it a try, so we went up to the third floor (the least crowded one). Turned out there were a minimum to eat there, so we went to the second floor where we managed to get the biggest soup dumpling I ever tasted. The taste is ok, but it’s a different experience.

Lunch hour, we went to Xin Tian Di, where we tried the Din Tai Fung pork dumpling. Both Nan Xiang and Din Tai Fung are actually available in my home country, but we must admit the taste is much better in Shanghai ^^

Late night, we were looking at two different famous dumpling restaurant: Jia Jia Tang Bao (HuangHe Lu 90) and Yang’s Fried Dumpling across the street from Jia Jia.

4 dumpling restaurants in one day, all are yummy yummy yummy, but the winner is Jia Jia Tang Bao 99 yuan dumpling (see picture below). Sorry I don’t know what it is (from the taste it must be crab), you better ask someone understand Chinese or print this picture.
